Find out when/where your MacTel was made

It's all in the serial number. Just go to http://www.chipmunk.nl/klantenservice/applemodel.html and enter your number.

It will tell you the manufacturing site as well as the week of production for your Mac.

And why is this useful, you may ask? Apple has been known to tweak the configuration of its machines over time. Having this info is a must-have, especially if you want to search any of the Apple discussion sites on the net.
