Boot Camp is kewl, but rebooting to get to each OS is lame.
That's why we're all so very excited about
Parallels and its virtualization technology that allows running XP with near-native speed
inside OS X.
You can switch to each OS with a click of the mouse, and with the latest
Beta (Parallels Workstation Beta5 now available), even share files seamlessly.
But what is really tres kewl is doing animated transitions between the two?
How do you do that, pray tell?!?
Simple. Just install
Virtue.
After that, just be sure to run XP in fullscreen inside Parallels (see this
tip (Dynamic Screen Resizing of XP in Parallels) while you're at it). Switching between OSs is a simple matter of pressing CTRL-SHIFT-LARROW or CTRL-SHIFT-RARROW.
