If you are a switcher from Windows like me, you are probably used to right-clicking to call up a context menu.

The Mac also has right-clicking, or secondary clicking, as its called on the Mac. Just press on Ctrl while clicking on the trackpad button to invoke it.

Better yet, you can just turn on "Place two fingers on trackpad and click button for secondary click". Apple silently slipped in the feature when it released OS X 10.4.7 thru Software Update last June but its turned off by default.
