"Active Zooming" with OS X 10.4.8

Apple slipped in some zooming goodness with the latest OS update.

To do "Active Zooming", as I've come to call it, just press the Control key and scroll with the trackpad (by moving two fingers across the trackpad surface) or ANY mousewheel-equipped mouse.

Isn't it just amazing that after releasing the Mighty Mouse last August, Apple not only joined the rest of the world by finally offering a multi-button mouse, it actually leapfrogged everybody else with all kinds of mousing and trackpad innovations?
