 Even with all the scare-mongering by commercial anti-virus vendors with the growing profile of OS X, it still pays to be safe and install an AV solution to defend against virri, just in case.But instead of forking over your hard-earned cash to the commercial vendors, just install the newly released Universal Binary version of ClamXav. Its a free, open-source anti-virus solution that even puts the commercial folks to shame. Why, even Apple bundles the ClamAV engine into OS X Server! |
