Coming just five days after its initial release, SupaPDF Lite v1.3 features:
- Automatic creation of a compressed version when a generated PDF exceeds 1mb.
This is not ZIP compression, but rather, transparent compression of the PDF's contents itself using Quartz. For example, a PowerPoint presentation printed to SupaPDF from a Windows XP machine in Parallels resulted in a 25 mb uncompressed PDF and a 3.5mb compressed PDF. (86% compression ratio without having to go thru a compression utility!!!)
- More Growl progress messages. Growl notifications are now displayed as each SupaPDF job is generated. Before, a notification was only displayed at the end of the SupaPDF job. Don't worry, each SupaPDF job will only use one Growl bubble so this will not result in Growl overload.
- Automatic Growl detection. If Growl is not installed, the SupaPDF installer will automatically open the Growl website in Safari.

SupaPDF Lite is our gift to the MacTel community to show that Macs cannot only co-exist with PCs, but actually, offer its extended capabilities to other operating systems.
Can we not just SupaPDF along?!
