Question Screen Saver Woes - 11-30-2006, 05:42 PM

Folks,
Just wondering if anyone has noticed the following on the MBP:
1.) In OS X the screen saver dims no matter how the energy saver is set. Seems Apple is aware of this. There was a recent firmware update & now the only time the settings won't hold is when returning from XP.
2.) In XP if you have a screensaver enabled the wireless won't work. Turn off the screen saver & I connect normally. Strange.

Oh, and how does one go about using a custom avatar in this forum? I realize there is a size limitation, but how otherwise do you insert it? Jaypeg, yes?
