New to MacTelChat - 06-20-2006, 06:08 PM

Hello, I'm new to this forum so I'm posting this to introduce myself.
My Macbook hasn't arrived yet but hopefully in a couple of days. (Actually I have 2 coming, one is for my daughter to relace her Toshiba Satellite). My main computer is a PowerMac G5 1.8 Dual, but I ran Linux on Intel x86 computers for years, (and have never had Windows on any of them, except for experimenting with Win4Lin and Wine). I look forward to this forum and learning from and communicating with other members.

Hi everyone,

I just join MacTelChat; glad to see a community dedicated to Mactels'. In case you wonder I ended up here because of the SlapBook d/l... So first I got myself the best Mac ever made (Macbook 2GHz, 2GB RAM, 100GB) and now the coolest s/w around! You should see all the peecee-using colleagues gaping at my switching between Tiger and XP (just bought Parallels Desktop - another fantastic piece of s/w btw.) Life is good
