Question Safari rats out when you signed up - 05-14-2006, 11:01 AM

If you put the cursor over the userlink (blue name), but don't click on it!, you can see in the status bar (Safari) the ID number of that user. It does not matter where you find the blue name.

Open"http://www.mactelchat.com/member.php?u=19" in a new window. I guess I am user 19 eh. Does your browser do something like this?

Um.... you can tell just by the link.... http://www.mactelchat.com/member.php?u=19

Just look at the status bar at the bottom of any browser and you can see the link... the u stands for user and the 19 is your user number...

Interesting... I tried Camino, Firefox and Opera and none of em give up the link like Safari. IE on Windows also does BTW.

And being an upstart website, the site's innards are still under heavy construction. I notice you found the new avatars And check out the new smilies too

And please do give us some feedback on how you think the site is shaping up.

Keep on MacTelling!
