Bernie Moderator Status: Offline Posts: 107 Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Virginia	IRA penalties - 07-13-2008, 09:13 AM IRA/401K I would pay down some of my debt but my money is tied up in 401K's that are sinking fast. I do not mind paying taxes on it as income but to tack on an extra 10% penalty for trying to do the right thing is a thing who's time is over. Could we get rid of this penalty? This whole country is one big hardship clause right now. There are cars you drive and cars you work on. I own a Mac.
