Though I posted the tip, I'll have to agree... it is worth it, especially if you're doing any serious iMovie/iDVD/Keynote work.
My only complaint with QuickTime Pro is for a product that comes from Apple, it has some serious usability issues when it comes to tapping the full power of Pro.
