Heh... Dell must be worried silly with Apple running on Intel.

The only differentiator that they have is price, and they can only shave so much from their razor thin margins.

IMHO, Dell is not really a computer company, its a supply-chain company in the mold of Walmart.

This is perfectly good for commodity items where price is the only real concern. And when Apple was running on PPC, it was a fine biz model with Dell slapping their competitors silly.

Apple completely changes the game with Windows-capable Macs, and Dell has no real counter attack for it.

R&D? Can you name one original Dell innovation outside their super-efficient supply chain?
